Logistics & Global Trade
The quiet infrastructure behind global commerce.
Overview
Assets that anchor supply chains
Blanco Logistics moves the goods the world depends on — including the concentrate, cathode and refined metal produced by our own mining division. That internal demand seeded the business in 2015; today more than 85% of volumes come from third-party customers across 40 countries.
The division is built on hard assets: a majority stake in the Puerto Alba container terminal in Valencia, a fleet of 34 owned and chartered vessels, and a warehousing network stretching from Rotterdam to Jebel Ali. We compete on reliability, not price — our terminal has ranked in the top five Mediterranean facilities for berth productivity three years running.

Terminal operations
Puerto Alba operates twelve ship-to-shore cranes across 1,850 metres of quay, with an automated gate system that turns trucks around in under 25 minutes on average.
Ocean freight & chartering
Our fleet mixes handysize bulkers carrying mineral concentrates with 4,500 TEU container vessels on fixed Mediterranean–Gulf rotations, complemented by a chartering desk in Geneva.
Contract logistics & rail
The Trans-Caspian rail corridor we co-developed with national operators moves 60,000 TEU annually between Xi’an and Istanbul, cutting transit times to 18 days versus 35 by sea.
